Pokémon Youth Futsal Cup- National Finalists
On Saturday 27th May 2023, three of our Year 11 students (Will N, Joe B and Brandon S) represented Durham County Schools FA U16's in the Regional Round of the Pokémon Youth Futsal Cup.
All three students were involved in a round-robin at Sport Central, Northumbria University against some of the best futsal clubs in the North. Durham finished top of the U16 group and qualified for the National Final with the following results:
Durham 2-4 Bolton
Durham 4-1 York
Durham 4-0 West Yorkshire
Durham 2-1 Sala (Manchester)
Durham will now travel to Wolverhampton for the FA Pokémon Youth Futsal Cup Final in July.
