On Sunday, Georgie H in Year 8 was competing for her gymnastics club, Monkton, at the Northern Acro Gymnastics Grades Competition in her trio.

They won the Grade 3 Gold Medal competition with a fantastic score of 27.750 and are now Northern Area Champions! Absolutely outstanding!

They will now go on to represent Northern England at the national championships in May at Stoke-on-Trent!

Along with all Georgie's family and friends, everyone here at Heworth Grange is extremely proud of her! Well done Georgie!
