NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
On Sunday 9th July 2023, Year 11 students Joe B and Brandon S represented Durham County Schools at Pokémon Youth Futsal Cup Grand Finals.
Both students played key roles as Durham won 5-2 in the semi-finals to set up a final against Sala Futsal Club from Manchester.
The final finished 3-3 with Durham winning 2-1 on penalties.
It was a privilege for the team to be coached by our very own Mr Vause and a fitting way for them to finish their school futsal careers.
We are very proud of the progress that these two young men have made in the five years they have been at Heworth Grange! Well done all involved!
