Heworth Grange was thrilled to have an exciting milestone as we welcomed the BBC Breakfast team for a special filming session on Wednesday. This remarkable opportunity not only highlighted our vibrant community but also showcased the innovative spirit and accomplishments of our students and staff.

Ten students from Heworth Grange School in Gateshead came up with an app that enhances access to urban green spaces. Their design wins them an ‘honourable mention’ in the Otis Made to Move Communities award.

We are very proud to share the amazing fundraising efforts of one of our Year 10 students, Jack. He has worked with this charity for many years and has raised thousands of pounds. We are very lucky to have such inspirational students here at Heworth Grange. Find out what he is up to next below.
